Susan Lukens, PT, MS, DPT

Susan Lukens, PT, MS, DPT brings over thirty years of experience in the outpatient clinical setting, emphasizing interdisciplinary and multi-site teamwork. She has extensive expertise in fiscal and strategic planning, physician relations, and facility design and construction. Currently, as the Director of Outpatient Rehabilitation at University of Florida Health in Gainesville, Florida, she manages 16 locations and oversees a diverse range of specialties from pediatrics to geriatrics. Her role encompasses managing a multi-million-dollar budget and a wide array of multidisciplinary programs, including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Language Pathology, Fitness & Wellness, and Cardiac Rehab.
Susan’s educational background includes a BS in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and an MS in Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado, Health Sciences Center. She completed her transitional Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the College of Saint Scholastica in August 2020. Additionally, she serves as the Chair of the Leadership Committee within the Academy of Leadership and Innovation of the American Physical Therapy Association.
