David J. Kempfert: David J. Kempfert is a physical therapist specializing in orthopaedics, sports, and manual rehabilitation, with an emphasis on lower extremity mechanics, particularly the foot/ankle’s role in the kinetic chain. Fellowship-trained through AAOMPT and board-certified in orthopaedics and sports, he has contributed to committees within APTA, AOPT, and AAOMPT. David earned his PhD in 2022, with a research agenda focused on adaptive/maladaptive changes in soft tissue following injury/rehabilitation. His extensive clinical experience spans all levels, from youth to professional athletes. He has presented at international, national, and local conferences, and is committed to advancing evidence-based rehabilitation through clinical practice and research.
