Catherine Patla, PT, DHSc, FAPTA

Catherine Patla, PT, DHSc, FAPTA is an associate professor and clinical mentor with extensive experience in physical therapy education at both entry-level and post-professional programs. Her teaching and clinical expertise focus primarily on extremity evaluation and clinical application. She has been an invited speaker at both national and international venues. Dr. Patla has been actively involved with the Florida Physical Therapy Association (FPTA) for many years. She has served at the subdistrict level, as a delegate to the House of Delegates since 2002, as Chief Delegate from 2004 to 2006, and as Florida Chapter President from 2007 to 2009. Her research interests center on end-feel assessment and the development of clinical diagnostic skills.
