Whether you’re facing a challenging situation in your practice or seeking clarity on the ethical implications of a decision, the Ethics Liaison is a valuable resource available to help you navigate these concerns. The role of the Ethics Liaison is advisory, providing support to ensure that you have access to the guidance you need while promoting integrity and professionalism.

  • Ethical Guidance: If you encounter an ethical dilemma or have questions about the ethical standards governing our profession, we can provide clarity and recommendations based on established guidelines such as the APTA Code of Ethics.
  • Educational Resource: The Ethics Chair can help you better understand the ethical responsibilities of physical therapists and physical therapist assistants, and ensure you’re equipped to make informed decisions that align with our profession’s values
  • Confidential Consultations: All inquiries are handled with confidentiality, ensuring that your concerns are addressed in a professional and respectful manner.
